The Ladies of Lourdes will meet at 7:30 PM
on March 11 in the Library/Media Room for
our annual Lenten Evening of Recollection.
Our spiritual evening will again be guided by
Dr. Susan Timoney, Asst. Secretary for
Pastoral Ministry and Social Concerns for the
Archdiocese. Plan to come to learn the way
of discipleship from the women who
accompanied Jesus through his passion,
death and resurrection. In prayer, Scripture
and discussion, we will explore Lenten
themes. All women of the parish are welcome

Rite of Sending/Rite of Election
At 5:00 PM Mass on March 8th, adult
candidates for Baptism, Confirmation, and
First Eucharist will take part in a ritual sending
forth from our parish community to Cardinal
Wuerl for the Rite of Election on Sunday
March 9th at 3:00PM. There he will accept
them as those elected by Christ to receive the
Easter Sacra-ments. Please look for their
pictures on the vestibule bulletin board so you
can greet them and pray for them, as they
begin this final part of the journey towards
baptism and full initiation in the Church.
