Monsignor Louis Quinn attended St. Joseph's High School in Baltimore, MD, graduating in 1936. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, in 1940, from Loyola College in Baltimore. Two years later, he graduated from St. Mary's Seminary in Baltimore with a Bachelor of Sacred Theology degree. Monsignor Quinn was ordained in 1945 and served as the assistant pastor at St. Matthew's Cathedral from 1945 to 1960. He was the founding pastor for Holy Cross church in Garrett Park, MD where he served from 1960 to 1968. Afterwards, he served as the Pastor at Blessed Sacrament from 1968 to 1974. He served at pastor at St. Matthew's Cathedral from 1974 to 1995. He currently serves as Pastor Emeritus at Our Lady of Lourdes. Other positions that Monsignor Quinn currently holds or has held in the past include: Spiritual Director of Christ Child Society, Spiritual Director of the Catholic Daughters Court 212, Conventual Chaplain for the Order of Malta Order of Merit, Knight Commander of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre as well as the Constantiniam Order of St. George. He was the Nation Chaplain for the U.S. Navy League and three times the President of the Priests' Senate for the Archdiocese of Washington.
