English as a Second Language
Duties: Teach English to non-native speakers or assist the teacher in the classroom with oral drill exercises. Also, help with registration and attendance sheets.
Time: Sundays, 1-1/2 hours each week. Preparation: 1/2 hour a week at home. Meetings 2-4 evenings per year as required. Secretarial assistance: as needed
Special Skills: Empathy and patience. Teacher training in English provided in the program
